The formula helps to clean the urinary tract from toxins. The ingredients improve cellular health as well as help to protect against heavy metals.
How to Know If you have Prostate Problems
Men with a family background of prostate cancer and older men should see their doctor to have regular screenings. A simple blood test called PSA can detect an enlarged prostate. It can also tell you if you are at risk of developing cancer, or if other medical conditions may require treatment.
If your doctor suspects that you have a prostatic problem, he will want to learn about all of your symptoms and the length of time they have been occurring. You will be asked about any pain you feel when you urinate and if you have noticed any changes to your urine. A digital rectal (DRE) may be recommended, in which a finger is placed on your prostate with a lubricated glove from inside your rectum. This takes about 10-15 seconds.
Symptoms of Prostate Problems
The prostate is a walnut sized gland located in the lower urinary system, both in front and in back of the penis. It is responsible for the production of semen, which in turn is used to make sperm. BPH, or benign prostatic hyperplasia, is the most common problem with the prostate. This occurs when it enlarges to the point that it interferes in urine flow. Other symptoms include painful or difficult urination and a weak urine flow. Fecal incontinence is another symptom of BPH. A more serious symptom of the prostate is not being able to urinate at all, which is a medical emergency.
Medicine for Prostate Issues
Many different medicines can be used to treat prostate problems. These medicines can be taken as pills or tablets, but they can also be liquids put into a supppository. The liquid is then passed through the penis into your bladder. Saw palmetto comes in both liquid extract and herbal supplements. These medications can either be taken by themselves or in combination with other medications, according to your doctor.
Surgery for Prostate Problems
Surgery might be an effective option if lifestyle modifications and medicines fail to improve your symptoms. This can be done by your GP or a urologist in a hospital. Your doctor will explain to you the pros and con of each surgery type so that you can decide which is best for your needs. They will also explain other options, such as regular check-ups at your GP’s office or with a urologist in the hospital.
The good news is BPH and most other prostate issues are not cancerous. But that does not mean they should be ignored. It’s important to keep up with your regular visits to the GP, as well as having your PSA and DRE tests. These can be the best way of detecting cancer or other conditions before they become serious. And if the disease is detected early, there are treatments that can save lives. This is particularly true of prostate cancer, which is usually treatable if it’s caught before it becomes advanced.
